Honoring the Guest ~ Interfaith Worship Series Exploring Diverse Faith and Spiritual Traditions
Hosted By: ICS
May 22nd 8pm
For our fifth Sunday worship services in 2015 we are planning on offering deep experiences of shared spiritual practices from diverse traditions!
One of the most profound blessings of having an independent and self-determining spiritual community like Interfaith Community Sanctuary is our ability to fulfill our dreams, visions, ideals — those that lead to harmony and understanding across diverse faith and spiritual traditions. One of the most beautiful and sacred ways to accomplish this is through the sharing of spiritual practices!
Sunday March 29th we invite all to experience Zikr—the practice of Remembrance of God in the Sufi tradition. There will be music, chanting, movement and deep prayer. The experience will be led by Cherag Michael Douglas and Rev. Karen Lindquist, teacher initiates in the Sufi tradition of Mevlana Jelaluddin Rumi.
More 5th Sunday Deep Spiritual Practices to look forward to:
Sunday May 31st we shall experience a Druid Nature Ritual.
Sunday August 30th to be announced
Sunday November 29th we shall co-create a Peschalt experience.
